Dusk to Dawn by Jacqueline Nash

Dusk to Dawn

As another day draws towards it’s end,
glowing twilight bathes us in her golden light
and gently washes away the cares of the long day.
Lovingly, she enfolds us in her ample arms
and carries us through the gloomy shadows,
where she leaves us to the darkness of the night.
Here, we begin our journey of dreams,
riding with ghosts on the whispering winds,
as we travel in sleep towards the first light of dawn.
